Subex Azure Employee Review
Subex Azure – “If you are a geek, dont go to subex.”

The process be damned !! You can do what you want , how you want , when you want.
You don't have to worry about unnecessary social conventions etc. Wear what you want ..
A very informal atmosphere. A small company , so you will end up knowing most people by their first names.
Cons
There is no work/life balance. If you intend to get anywhere in the company prepare to put in 80 hour weeks atleast.
Initially when I joined there were some highly competent engineers. I mean smart people, however these days it seems to be more of a code monkey shop. Which was when I decided to call it quits.
You also get burdened with a lot of tasks at odd times .
You are under constant pressure and you might be shifted from one team to another if they feel resources are less in a team.
Also a good developer needs a good conjusive environment for work.
4 people / cubicle is a bit too much.
This company is run by sales people and you know that engineering is second fiddle, which is not what a geek wants.
Advice to Senior Management
Management was a disappointment at subex.
Most of the highly smart people feel diluted by the incompetence surrounding them , This includes some pretty incompetent managers , whose idea of a good performer was the number of hours worked.
