Subway – “Ok if you're willing to take just any job.”

Subway General Hand in Sydney (Australia):   (Past Employee - 2007)

Pros

Free food after your shift. You were allowed to take one 6 inch home at the end of every shift, but most people (including management) took two. This was one of the things that kept me working there.

Cons

Wage is absolute minimum and working on holidays does not have extra pay.

Advice to Senior Management

Treat the employees with a bit more respect in terms of wages, and they will serve food faster and work more efficiently.
