I worked at Subway part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Great co-workers, good challenge, good customer service and cash handling skills. This will come in handy for future jobs that require some type of costumer service.

Cons

Understaffed, poor management, customers that think they know how to run the place.
My Subway had a drive thru and that is the worst a Subway can do. It's too "customizable".
The hours suck during the winter. I usually had about 4 hours a week...
No benefits for part timers.
I don't even think there were much benefits for full timers either. Seemed like they were worked to death more than part time.
I wouldn't recommend this job unless you are 1) desperate or 2) you only want a job as a "filler" for around 10-20 hour weeks. (except winter is only about 4-6 hour weeks)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

How about more people during the shift and more respect for employees. Add benefits to your vocabulary.

I have been working at Subway part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They are very friendly, kind, and accepting

    Cons

At mine, Not a lot of people help you cover when you can't make it too a shift. Often people come in sick because they cannot find anyone to cover. Also they are really disorganized but, it's understandable considering we just got a new owner. I've been there 3 or 4 months and I still haven't learned a lot of stuff (But that was the last owners fault) Slowly I'm starting to learn the ropes, all over it's a very nice business to work for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the cheese's less sticky, there hard to get apart, and send the tomatoes quicker they spoil and we end up wasting a ton of them.
