Pros

Meet new people, perfect the art of creating a sandwich or wrap, learn about food prep and planning for daily food needs, ability to work at a variety of locations

Cons

Odd hours occasionally, rotation of managers, blame game gets played occasionally, lack of a good lunchtime break, lack of training on the oddball occurrences (especially when the location has a public restroom)

Advice to Management

train and follow up with every employee

    Pros

You are provided with an environment in which you learn how to deal with customers and plan your work activities based on customer volume which teaches you interpersonal and time management skills. I would recommend everyone work at a fast-food place at least once in their life.

    Cons

The majority of customers are jerks and your coworkers tend to not be the best people to have to work with. This is true for most fast-food places I feel.

    Advice to Management

Always make sure to train your employees in every aspect of their job. From my experience, when something isn't done right it is due to a lack of knowledge.

    Pros

Assistant manager pay is quite wonderful, health benefits included; dental, eye and health, the workers were fun (college town) lots of young people, and the owner's were literally the nicest people I've ever met.

    Cons

High stress situations can sometimes cause' "internal fights", Day-shift/Night-shift rivalries can be a bit over dramatic sometimes it felt like I was still in High-School.

    Advice to Management

    Don't ever change!
