Working for this company is not as easy as everyone thinks; it builds character and work ethic, not retirement funds

I have been working at Subway full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Schedule flexibility, good benefits with the right franchisee/DA office, one of a kind interaction with cusotmers through the build process

Cons

Customers can be overly demanding and indignant, rapidly changing policies, smaller franchisees not able to compensate for what the job is worth, usually understaffed or under paid, sometimes both

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You don't want to cut into labor costs to increase profit retention; this is bad for customers and employees.

I worked at Subway part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

A fresh fast food place that you don't walk away feeling like a greasy french fry or hushpuppie

    Cons

No set in stone schedule.. and you won't make enough money to save any

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let employees stay an hour longer to clean properly. If it's 7 an hour then that should be well worth an immaculate store for your customers to dine in the next day. Don't be greedy for the Store Owner and run your employees off that are doing a great job for you. It's only 7 or 8 bucks for you and it makes a world of difference for those on minimum wage.
