I have been working at Subway

Pros

You really get to know what it is to work with people. It is awesome if you are good at customer service.

Cons

There is not much room for growth...there are a lot of things to do at once, no benefits package

Advice to ManagementAdvice

pay more attention to what the workers have to say on how to better the establishment. The customer is not always right.

    I worked at Subway

    Pros

Very easy application process. It is a fill in the blanks type. Also the interview process was just simple questions.

    Cons

The franchise is always open - even on holidays. Also, it is definitely not a career path, unless you are looking to open your own franchise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should take into consideration that the customers get really angry about being charged extra for vegetables. The consequences are reflected in how much tip their employees make.

    I worked at Subway

    Pros

    Food discount
    Free meal
    Flexible
    Simple work
    Good training ideas
The company is a great company depending on the owner

    Cons

No advancement opportunities, the Subway Corporation doesn't really observe the operation of their chains. Ownership is pretty easy to come by, but inspections rarely occur even though plenty of things are truly wrong

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Inspect every Subway chain and its owner better, do more anonymous and surprise inspections, as some owners are just simply incapable of running the business the right way
