I worked at SuccessFactors full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

fast paced, pays pretty well, solid product

Cons

passive agressive mentality, very difficult to stay for a long time, they pick favorites, recruiters will lie to you (still do)

Advice to Management

grow up, you're not saving lives

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at SuccessFactors full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place if you are in the right position. Compensation and benefits good. And people generally nice.

    Cons

Very easy to get pigeon holed into a position, and very tough to get out of. Growth is bad. Not everywhere, just in PS. Time sheets and expense reporting very cumbersome.

    Advice to Management

Too many mid-level managers. This needs to be thinned out.

At least I have some funny stories about it....

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at SuccessFactors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Young, talented, energetic employees. Rapid execution of interesting projects.

    Cons

Giant signs on every wall which read "No A$$h*les! No Whining!" No cubicles or offices, instead everyone seated in one giant room, open table table style. CEO stalks around floor, waving $1000 for anyone willing to resign on the spot. It was like that from the day I began, and never relented.

    Advice to Management

You'd get a lot more out of your employees if you didn't insist on treating them like cult members. It's Human Resources software, not the cure for cancer.
