flexible work schedule
decent work station
little micromanagement

Cons

little to no opportunity for advancement
little to no training. learn as you go.
little motivation to excel (see above regarding zero opportunity for advancement)
stale environment
review process is stunted

Forget status quo and start recognizing your internal talent. Treat them accordingly. You'd be surprised what you'd see out of them.

    Great work/life balance, friendly atmosphere, decent compensation (but not great), good vacation policy

    Cons

    Full of lifers, expensive health care, no apparent room for growth or promotion

    Focus more on employee development...develop an obvious career path and tell people how to get there

    Pros

    Lots of opportunity if one goes after it. The work life balance is top notch. Very flexible regarding work life balance.

    Cons

    No opportuntiy for growth. Limited career choices. Easy for one to settle in and accept their position. As a result, don't expect to advance career here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some Managers need to respect lower level employees. It's the lower level employees who are on the front line making them look good.
