Pros

Good technology, some competent people. Benefits good but getting worse. Work from home program helpful to employees (and doubtless abused by many).

Cons

People protecting their turf, incompetent middle managers, horde of non-technical yes men calling the shots. Zero opportunities for career and professional growth inside if you're unhappy with where you are in the organization -- expect friends and buddies to get hired in your place. Also expect such friends and buddies to get re-hired promptly in case they are laid off. Extremely incompetent managers not encouraged to ask tough questions or indeed any questions at all, since they don't have a clue about the product.

Advice to Senior Management

Resign, and let fresh blood take over. Otherwise, fund projects customers are paying for and cut others mercilessly.
