“Sun was a great and innovative company that suffered from poor senior management”
Current Employee – been working at Sun Microsystems full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Cooperation and passion of other employees. Product set and engineering. Ability to move around the company
Cons – Poor upper management. Inability to change business model over time. Missed monetizing assets.
Advice to Senior Management – look outside the company for new and better talent
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
