Pros

Great people to work with, intellectually stimulating, flexible, employee friendly. Sun has developed a great line of products but many have not seen the light of day.

Cons

Executive leadership has been clueless for a while, leading to the situation Sun finds itself in.
Marketing has been hapless, execution could be better instead of management's hope that reorganizations will result in problems being worked out.

It's too late to offer additional advice. Jonathan Schwartz has not shown the ability to heed or learn from advice.
