I worked at SunPower (San Jose, CA)

    Pros

-Leading Technology and highly respectable product
-Good set of people with adequate knowledge on what they do
-Compensation is good. Benefits are above standards.

    Cons

-Management is really hard to connect to. You'll feel like a headless chicken at times
-A lot has become unclear after the re-org. People at the bottom of the pyramid still does not know what direction does the management wants to go
-Work will consume you. People in ops are overworked. 12++ shifts a day working on accounts accross the globe
-No training being offered to improve one's capability

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be clear on what you want to achieve. Understand your analyst better because not all cost reduction measures are possible. Be bullish but realistic by looking and understanding the actual numbers suggests.

I worked at SunPower (San Jose, CA)

    Pros

They have a great product, a decent culture and a reasonable executive team.

    Cons

What drove me crazy was that mid-level managers got more recognition for saying "no" than actually helping you drive a project to completion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward employees for assisting others to get things done.
