    Pros

Good Benefits, large enough there are opportunities to move within the organization

    Cons

Lot's of staff reductions going on right now. Inconsistent policies on work/life issues. What is a number one priority today can easily become a non-priority tomorrow.

Financial Services Rep - aka NSF Manager

Former Employee - Financial Services Representative in Gaffney, SC

I worked at SunTrust full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The branch had air conditioning and all the water you could drink...that's about it.

    Cons

Everything else. Manager and Asst Manager were unprofessional. Pay was terrible. Required weekend hours. Constant push towards selling product, rather than customer service. Do not provide enough education to put you in a position to succeed. Spent majority of time talking to customers about NSF's. Often put in uncomfortable position due to false promises made by Asst Manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be professional. Don't send your employees to Sonic to pick you up a corndog and slushie every day. Don't share your alarm code. Don't leave two new employees at the branch while you and your asst manager go eat at Olive Garden.
