Pros – great group of scientists and clinicians
Sunesis provided me a wonderful opportunity to become better at what I already knew and did not hold me back in areas that were totally new to me. I left Sunesis with far more experience than most gain in their first years of industry, including managing direct reports, interaction with the most advanced projects and a good understanding of the drug discovery process and challenges.
I still believe in their drug-discovery platform and hope it gets a second chance in another environment

Cons – small, limited money thus resources
some times we could not afford the best instrument or the best assays
Running low on funds led to layoff of staff including long-termers. It was clearly very difficult for Sr. Management to do this.

Advice to Senior Management – wish the remaining folks luck as they push on
