Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Lester, PA

I have been working at Sunoco full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

People are rewarded based on their hard work, the pay and benefits package is great, there is a lot of opportunities to learn new things, and the employees are a great group of people to work with.

    Cons

The company has undergone a lot of changes in the last few years and this has cut back on the growth opportunities. The company has recently been bought by Energy Transfer Partners so the future of each department isn't that clear. 9/80 ends in January 2013. The current headquarters is in an area that doesn't offer much and the building is a mess.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back job shadowing so that employees can continue to develop skills outside of their department. Encourage teamwork where everyone works towards the benefit of the department instead of what works best for themselves.
