Sunrise Senior Living – “DO NOT LIKE WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY”

This company does not hire quality professionals to run their buildings or care for their residents. The food quality served to the residents is EXTREMLEY POOR. The residents are allotted such a low dollar amount per day for food, it is a disgrace. The low salaries and hourly wages they pay their staff limits the talent they are able to get into their buildings b/c people with educations are not valued in this Sunrise Culture. When they do get good people- they eventually leave b/c of the overwhelming number of unqualified people running this whole mess. It becomes a vicious cycle of turn around bc problmes are never addressed and solved when they arise, they are placed on the back burner and again it cycles. My experience here has been a negative one- each day filled with more sales calls where more lies are circled amoungst all the area management, ED's and DCR's.

Advice to Senior Management

They should focus more on the original philosophy of Sunrise- RESIDENT CARE and what Sunrise was built on- the residents are truely suffering bc of how corporate has become.
