    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Help senior people to live better

    Cons

Long days with lot of working hours because they fired people or people quit and never hired people to replace them. New generation of management (in the last year) destroyed the great internal culture and don't have any management skills.

    Advice to Management

Focus on employees. Lot of people are leaving the company because the management is making lot of mistakes to keep them happy.

Under qualified people in decision making positions

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Strong culture of providing the best for the residents

    Cons

*Finding someone in a leadership position that is qualified or capable of making smart strategic decisions is hard to come by (hence the current position of the company). *Individuals that are capable of moving the company forward often leave for better positions at competing assisted living companies or left as a result of the multiple lay-offs. Leaving those individuals who are under qualified or uneducated to move up in the ranks. *Many of the processes and policies are antiquated or overcomplicated in nature making it unnecessarily difficult to complete day-to-day tasks. *Every organization has some amount of politics going on within in the office, but the politics and game playing going on at Sunrise seem to be worst then most. Probably a result of the multiple lay-offs and the "every man for himself" attitude you must posses to get by.

    Advice to Management

As individuals are moving up in the organization do a better job assessing their ability to successfully take on the roles they are being placed into. Keep your ear to the floor when it comes to the game playing and politics, its running ramped.
