I worked at Super Micro Computer, Inc. (Supermicro)

Pros

- Daily free small breakfast
- Offers benefits
- To poorly skilled workers: You might have a shot working at Supermicro if you're willing to get low-ball pay.

Cons

- A lot of senior managers got where they are today due to seniority, not the quality of work they put in.
- Management needs improvement. Tolerate and cause a lot of unnecessary drama between employees and departments.
- Employees are expected to put in a lot of labor hours. The more hours you put in, the more recognitions you receive. Even if you are not producing any quality work.
- Most managers cannot speak proper English or have any management qualifications; unprofessional.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

- The company can grow a lot if they have more qualified managers.
- The company is growing rapidly, but it's lacking in seamless technology to manage the supply chains.
- Focus too much on cutting costs so the company gets poorly skilled employees. The highly skilled ones tend to leave because they don't see growth in the company. This leaves all the poorly skilled ones behind.

    Pros

Steady stable and friendly environment with free breakfast (Pastries from Sheng-Kee Bakery) everyday.

    Cons

If you are ambitious with intent to climb up this is not the place. Still i would not rate this as a negative con especially in light of the macroeconomic conditions.
