Super Micro Computer Systems Engineer in San Jose, CA:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Intense work environment most of the time but may get alot out of it if you can go along. You can involve with alot of aspects in hardware development if you're curious enough to explore.

Cons

Long work hour and occasional saturday on call is required. Most people in the company will give you the look if you take off early. Incompletent director always get yell by Sales people directly. Worse yet, no management skills at all. Most manager take advantage of their employees by taking their credit. You can pretty much forget about bonus here. The main language in this company is chinese.

Advice to Senior Management

Management needs to care more for their employees and standup for them. Stop contacting people whenever you like without considering their time off. Encourage your employees and motivate them with advises rather then useless expectation.
