I worked at SuperShuttle International full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Stable financials, company re-invests in infrastructure and equipment, strong business model, and good brand awareness. Work-life balance is excellent, and staffing levels are more than adequate to ensure proper support. Company offers good benefits package

    Cons

Salaries are "slotted", and upward mobility moves at a glacial pace. SuperShuttle is extremely insular and not particularly adept at adjusting to its rapidly changing industry. Company was acquired in 2006 by a global conglomerate; since that time executive management seems detached from the everyday experience of their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My experience was that employee input was not especially well-received and as a result innovation/adaptation stalled. In the past several years, I believe that the company has experienced a substantial exodus of talent for this reason. The management positions at the corporate and regional level in the market in which I worked are virtually unrecognizable vs. just a few years ago...I believe that might have been avoided had executive management been more responsive to employee input.

I have been working at SuperShuttle International full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

There are no advantages to working at super shuttle.

    Cons

Customers waiting hours for vans at MIA and of course it's the CSR's fault.

    Always looking to fire anyone.

    Minimum wage job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get better management in Miami and maybe you could have the airport contract again.

Give employees a decent living wage.
