Pros

Freedom to work at own pace, great 401K

Cons

Lack of HR procedure policy, No management guidance, Admins run department , no team building or motivation, no advancement

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of letting admins run your group, let your managers run things. Managers who care about the well being of the company and not their retirement.

I worked at Superior Energy as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Good pay, benefits, work environment. Office space was very nice and the company provided Monday lunch was a great perk.

    Cons

Some managers seem to not know their jobs. Company policies are not handed down and certain information has to be found on your own and sometimes by surprise

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve the on boarding of new hires. Ensure that persons that are put into management positions have experience and can do the jobs of those that they are to manage.
