“Idearc, Supermedia, a Zebra Does Not Change Its Stripes”
Current Employee – been working at Supermedia
Pros – Among the best benefit packages anywhere.
Hard working dedicated sales team.
Discounts for Verizon Cellular Phone plans.
A yellow cape to show you're one of the "Good Guys."
Cons – Hostile work environment. Constant verbal threats of the "Axe" coming down.
World leaders in micro management.
Changes in policy without notice.
Will throw you or any employee "under the bus" if it suits thier means.
Advice to Senior Management – Learn that print is a dying beast.
Stop the micro management.
Listen to your Media Consultants, they know what the customer wants.
Stop using threats of termination as a management tool.
Lead by example.
Respect those below you. Remember, Media Consultants are the engine that drives OUR company.
