it a national government office being an independent branch of the government and working as a permanent employee has a security of tenure

Cons

lesser opportunities of career advancement unless backed up; most of the the time career advancement is based on whom you know and not what you know

    My division has a good working relationship and leave credits are accumulated so you can have a good retirement pay if you don't gained lots of it

    Most of the time, promotion is based on seniority
