Former Employee - Technical Support in Mumbai (India)

I worked at Sutherland Global Services full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Good Place to work in the ITES sector as it offers one of the best training in voice and technical skills. Rules and Regulation are followed religiously when it comes to client information or any company policy. Never ever experienced a delay in disbursement of salary.

Cons

Employee working environment can improve a lot. First line managers are not empowered enough with decision making. Employee retention is not attempted with lot of conviction.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

More interaction with the client facing employees on a regular basis to get a feedback and not relying solely on managers whom they report to.

    Pros

Friendly office-mates only not with the seniors

    Cons

Not supportive TL Supervisors and Account Manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more knowledge to the seniors and I would prefer, that they promote their own agent rather than hire new new seniors or TL or supervisor. That are so stupid in product knowledge.

    Pros

if your experiencing this .."NO CHOICE"

    Cons

you don't get your salary in full. dispute is always an issue. supervisor won't let you use your leave..even terminal leave..favoritism of the supervisor..no contentment at all..you have to die first before they let you rest..they don't give importance to tenured agents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

you know what IMPORTANCE is? try to let your tenured people feel that.
    do something about disputes.
don't let your people die first before you let them rest.
let your people use the privileges that YOU gave them..like leaves.do not tell them that they should be thankful you gave it..ITS USELESS TO GIVE IF YOU WON'T LET THEM USE IT.
and lastly, have your supervisors undergo drug test. one supervisor is using together with the agents. scary right?
