I worked at Sutter Health full-time for more than a year

Pros

People are generally friendly, benefits are good.

Cons

All PM's are contractors who don't live in the state so are basically there to collect a paycheck which makes for a very in personable environment.

I have been working at Sutter Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great Pay, Great Health Care Benefits, Great People, United mission centered around patient care in my community.

    Cons

Long bureaucratic process delay good strong performers from working well. As with some other jobs who you know really makes a big difference. Difficult to advance internally

I have been working at Sutter Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

High-quality people at non-management levels; personable/compassionate management team; great tools, excellent project/process methodology

    Cons

Muddled leadership messages; questionable prioritization, lack of awareness of conflicting strategies for individual projects, Minimum 25% daily administrative overhead for virtually all levels of employees. Non-exempts handcuffed to web-based "Kronos" timeclock system, with penalties for excessive corrections (called "exceptions") when late or missing clock-in/out. Ridiculous restrictions for company-issued cellular devices, preventing real-time support to customers and projects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Address the impact of Kronos on non-exempts. Remove he handcuffs on using iPhones for supporting customers and projects regardless of location or time-of-day.
