Fortune 500 Company benefits; take time off when needed; stable company. If you have trouble with kids and need to take a day off from work it's not difficult to do.

Cons

Politics can play a role in advancement; people who attempt to work there way up the ladder don't get paid as well as those who get the same job from outside the company. I know people who had to leave and come back to get more money as well as people who had to accept job offers from other companies to get offered commensurate compensation.

Advice to Senior Management

Pay regular employees to retain them; stop attempting to force tech support in India down customers throats. Allow support engineers to specialize in specific product areas so they can become experts. Attempting to have support engineers know something about everything causes support cases longer to get resolved. Passing a customer who has multiple issues to different support technicians who are experts in the product area is not bad, it can help resolve a case faster. This is an example of a customer not necessarily knowing what is best for them when the complain about getting sent to different support engineers to resolve multiple problems.
