“Great 'small company' feel from such a large corp.”
Former Employee – worked at Symantec full-time for more than a year
Pros – I would recommend absolutely EVERYONE that I worked with at Symantec. They have a lot of very smart people both in the business and technical arena. Despite working with teams spread across many time zones everyone communicated well and strives to build quality products.
It was amazing how they managed to encapsulate the small company feel within individual business units of such a large company.
Cons – They aren't afraid to lay staff off with little or no warning. It happened to me.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
