Former Employee - Technical Support Manager in Munro (Argentina)

I worked at Symantec full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Depending on which team you land on, people can be awesome. Salary is good.

    Cons

Some people on some teams, all the bureaucracy that is required for even the tiniest thing, and how that significantly affects all human processes. The way that the company chose to use in order to letting us all know that we were going to be unemployed was absolutely dreadful and substandard. I would not have imagined a company so large would do that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people as they are: human beings. And don't outsource things as important as severance calculations or pay. You will end up paying more than you should have and your former employees will end up hating your company and talking down on it to everybody they know.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
