Symantec offers a typical Silicon Valley tech company experience, with friendly people and great perks.

Intern (Current Employee) Mountain View, CA

ProsFriendly people, great onsite perks (Mountain View - HQ), structured internship and rotational programs, great brand name, ability to work in a number of different business areas.

ConsPay was slightly lower than many competitors, organization was lacking in some areas (may be due to the reorg currently ongoing)

Advice to Senior ManagementEven though management expressed that their pay rates were equal to competitors, I would suggest bumping it more to keep top talent

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
