Pros
It seems stable. The people I work with are great.
Cons
Upper management has no idea what they are doing and displays no respect for individual contributors. They will not release the results of a company wide survey. Raises this year were between 2%-4%. Given inflation many people took a reduction in pay.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop treating your employees like idiots. We can see when you are screwing us no matter how much double-talk and how many assurances you make. Also, figure out what the purpose of our company is.

The buck must stop with JT. He is the one who has chosen the style of management where the employee is of little or no value. Contrast that with MS, Google, etc. Symantec is going to be swallowed up soon and then it will just be a distant memory. They just continue to lose their best employees to all of their competitors. It is sad to watch a company rise as it did, to just fall as it is now doing.
