I worked at Symcor part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Perfect to go to after my regular full-time job because I got to relax at a comfortable desk, could listen to music while I worked, was my choice whether I felt like socializing with the other workers, could choose my own break schedule

    Cons

Virtually no communication from the floor Managers, was I really even doing my job correctly?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    walk the floors

    Recommends
    No opinion of CEO

Mixed-bosses were being against one another. Maciavellians and unethical people were promoted. Good people driven out.

Former Employee - IT Specialist in Mississauga, ON (Canada)

I worked at Symcor full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good projects with challenges you could learn so much- push tech to limits.

    Cons

Short sighted thinking. Only on project at hand... If not needed - you were shown the door. Too much a user culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sales and production need to be on same page and working together. Sales ruled the roost and promised the moon. No accountability for not knowing what was possible. Production made whipping boy.
