It is a great company. However, lack of growth after a point only serves for it to be treated as a great leaning ground

I worked at Syntel full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

syntel being a small firm privdes lot of opportunities to take up responsibilities, you get thrown into the deep end of the pool often and made to swim to survive

    Cons

Syntel still is a company run with an old mindset. meritocracy is not valued as much a seniority. Also, syntel seems to be a low cost competitor and hence refrains from investing in talent which is a must for a company that has been around for as long as Infosys has.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

value meritocracy, develop talent, retain employees and encourage them to go beyond their current limits

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
