Current Employee - Senior Director  in  Houston, TX
Current Employee - Senior Director in Houston, TX

Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, promotion opportunities if willing to relocate. Additional benefits beyond salary insurance (bonus, stock options, restricted stock units) can be lucrative, but obviously not guaranteed.

Cons

Poor communication about change, significant changes occurring for several years. Defined benefit pension plan recently frozen. 401k replacement not as good as previous pension - less likely to encourage employees to stay long term.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better about upcoming changes, communicate better about action plans to achieve high level strategic objectives.
