The tough economy does not help, but the benefits and compensation package were average. I recommend this company to others.

Good place to work to gain valuable experience, not a good place to advance

    I worked at Syska Hennessy

    Pros

    - Work on diverse projects
    - Good people
    - The ability to gain valuable work experience

    Cons

    - The salaries are sub par. You're lucky to get a 2% raise every year
    - The bonus structure is only beneficial to upper management. The "worker bee" receive very little, but they dangle it in front of you like a carrot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of the little guy. Worry less about the bottom line and spend a little time worrying about the people you are in charge of. A little recognition will go a long way for morale.
