Was excellent until one day. Then it all changed for the worst.

Associate Manager (Former Employee) Shrewsbury, MA

Pros-good if you get a good market and specifically Market Manager and Division director
-Pay can be good if your hitting your goals which can be possible depending on how they feel like making them for the month.
-Fun
-Pretty good employee phone plan.

Cons-Get the wrong market, market manager, and divisional director and kiss all the money, fun, reason you want to go to work everyday good bye.
-People given positions above you have never been in your shoes, never mind actually working in a t-mobile store. and they expect you to listen to them when they say something asinine for you to do.

Advice to Senior Managementlook at who your hire to oversee the store managers and market managers. There is usually more talent and retail knowledge coming from the newer part timers than coming from the leaders.

Used to Be Great - Rapidly Heading Downhill

Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) Las Vegas, NV

I have been working at T-Mobile

Pros: The benefits package is top notch. At the time of writing this review, health coverage is excellent and extremely affordable for both PT and FT… Cons: Important company and product changes are hardly communicated in a timely fashion - I usually find out about it via "leaked" internet boards like TmoNews!… Advice to Senior Management: You need to stop withholding important company information from your frontline employees. If you are discontinuing a phone, let us know as soon as you… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Rewarding if you work at it but be prepared to kiss ass to get promoted

Retail Sales Associate (Current Employee) Los Angeles, CA

I have been working at T-Mobile

Pros: Excellent benefits, work with really great people, decent paying job… Cons: Promotions are rarely based on performance and generally fall toward favoritism, upper executives in… Advice to Senior Management: Please stop making work unnecessarily difficult. Examples include token code system which adds an extra 1-5 minutes per each time we need to call customer… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
