Former Employee - Customer Service Representative II in Redmond, OR

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Diverse jobs and multiple locations w/ ability to transfer
    Excellent benefits and phone package
    Strong sense of work-life balance
Some months very high bonus potential (dependent on position)

    Cons

Constantly changing job requirements and performance standards
Performance metrics "bungee" and when can't be met will cost bonus and commissions
Loss of vision, mission, and downgrade of corporate culture after Philipp Humm became CEO
Rapid transition to greater outsourcing and closure of US call centers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Outsourcing is detested by the customer base and causes endless mishandling of customer accounts that must be cleaned up by onshore departments like Retention. It saves no money to outsource when it drives away customers.
