Sales Rep

Retail Sales Representative (Current Employee)
Clarkston, MI

ProsGreat pay if you're good at sales. Compared to other retailers like Best Buy , at T-Mobile you are actually treated like an adult. No busy work, and management doesn't expect you to go outside of your typical job responsibilities. Pay is almost double that of a big box store like Best Buy with half the work. going from Best Buy to T-Mobile was one of the best decisions I've made. Getting rewarded on sales, rather then just getting a pat on the back means a lot more money and I still get the same hourly as Best Buy plus commission on top.
Hours are gret store is open 10 to 8 and 11 to 5 on Sundays. Management is great and employees are very helpful. Almost always get one day off on the weekends, unlike Best Buy in wich you basically kiss your personal life goodbye. In 3 years I never had a day off on the weekend unless it was requested at Best Buy. I love my new jon!

ConsStore can get a little slow.

I have been working at T-Mobile part-time for more than a year

Pros: The pay as a part-time associate is the best I've encountered for the required amount of work. Store hours are great (10am to 8pm Monday… Cons: The company seems to be at an unstable point. Employees usually aren't… Advice to Senior Management: Keep employees informed of company direction. There is a thin line between keeping… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

    Great Company, BUT.....

    Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee)
    Miami, FL

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Great Benefits, Good pay, Fun place to work (depends on the location you are at) If you're into technology then this company is… Cons: Management can be a real pain. It's all about politics/favoritism. You can sell everything in the store, provide the best customer service experience,… Advice to Senior Management: Stop showing favoritism because that can really bring down morale. Discipline employees who are slacking. Don't make things up just to get rid of an employee. Don't just… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
