I worked at T-Mobile part-time for less than a year

Pros

A lot of sales training!--A large opportunity to make what YOU want. Commission and Hourly Blended wage. Great employee plans.

Cons

Poor discount on actual devices. Employee satisfaction is low. Commission pay schedule is one month behind.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick to one metric system for evaluating sales competency.

    I have been working at T-Mobile full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Benefits package and the good people who haven't left.

    Cons

    Upper management is under desperate pressure and has a revolving door.
    Very mirco-managened.
    Too many changes almost every day due to the intense feeling of desperation through the company.
    Poor commission structure and unfair system for assigning quotas.
    Commission structure changes regularly and each time the ceiling is lowered.
    Work life balance has failed.
    Company is not what it used to be and getting worse quickly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Find a way to sell the company, you've ruined it - let someone else absorb and fix it.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Best health insurance in the industry. None of the other wireless companies even come close because it is based out of Bellvue. Good pay w/commission. Room for growth.

    Cons

    They do not want to give any hours, policies are inconsistent. Upper management is inconsistent, can go months without proper leadership. The future of the company is up in the air. You could end up training your manager who is new to the company for a position you have applied for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be consistent with behaviors across the board. Promote from within, as other companies do not hire management from outside. Work on more effective communication.
