Great sales people can make money, but it's tricking old people into buying things we both know they don't need.

    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible, Part time is really good with benefits compared to other part time jobs, perfect job while attending school, employee cellular perks, company culture is laid back (can be either good or bad)

    Cons

Customers can either make you love or hate the job. You can get stuck with bad retail management, the older and more educated you get..the job gets less appealing..

Former Employee - Retail Sales Representative in Brooklyn, NY

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Overall was a very good experience and you can learn a lot about retail sales and building customer rapport. Its a great start for someone who wants to pursue retail.

    Cons

Some of the cons were dealing with irate customers and always being expected to hit quotas that can sometimes be unrealistic. At the end of the day your managers want to see good behaviors and its ok if you dont hit your metrics.
