I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than a year

Pros

Overall was a very good experience and you can learn a lot about retail sales and building customer rapport. Its a great start for someone who wants to pursue retail.

Cons

Some of the cons were dealing with irate customers and always being expected to hit quotas that can sometimes be unrealistic. At the end of the day your managers want to see good behaviors and its ok if you dont hit your metrics.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Some good people who are competent in their roles. Maximum benefits including: full medical, 401k match, discounts at online retailers, phone benefit.

    Cons

    Ethical issues reside within the company and their T-Mobile Values have become little more than writing on the wall. This was especially apparent with their handling of the whistle blower who challenged the accuracy of their coverage map- they fired him and were sued. They lost the court battle and paid the man a large sum of money. However, they did nothing to change the map. Speak candidly with anyone in their engineering group and they will tell you how unreliable the network is and how powerless management makes them to fix it. This is just one example of how senior management directs the stream of lies to consumers and employees. Delusional is the best word to describe the happy-go-lucky attitude of the management as they continue to bleed customers, employees and profits.

    Sell the company to someone who will actually care about making it a success.
