I worked at T-Mobile full-time (less than a year)

Pros

They have a movie theater, and company pot-lucks and activities for holidays.

Cons

From day one in training the company enjoys lying to you. From how "easy" it is to move in the company in a management role, to requirements to bonus. They will not work with you (within the call center) if you go to school. Sorry work around your schedule until it changes in 6 months....

Former Employee - Manager in Boston, MA

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people, hard workers, local leadership is good; New CEO is strategic and getting things done, but it's a little late for some customers.

    Cons

disconnected senior leadership, poor customer perception of company, products and coverage; churn and burn result with business sales employees, unobtainable goals given customer issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees (and customers) as they are on the front lines with customers; provide support and authority to mid-level management to make decisions, don't delay with strategy and product decisions and stick with them so they can have a chance.

Former Employee - Senior Network Engineer in Bellevue, WA

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You get a cheap phone plan for you and 4 other lines. Used to be up to 7 lines

    Cons

Crazy, crazy, crazy. Moving targets for dates and no real direction from management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unrealistic time lines and expectations from upper management, when they are the ones who put processes in place to make everything move slowly.
