  2. Loved it, that's why I stayed for over 7yrs but your job can depend on how your coach feels about you & not on history

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

good pay & benefits, always enjoyed dealing with customers, like being on the computer, they are very open to people having tattoos and piercings (which I don't mind removing if needed of course), always got along well with other employees and supervisors

    Cons

how the customer feels about you doesn't matter as much as other metrics like how long you are on the call or how many people you transfer or sales which are all still very important but without the customers and keeping them there's no job. Your job should depend on your history with the company and NOT just up to one persons feelings about you. They took away phone discounts after they were already earned and we were paying the same as most customers I figured as an employee they would give us a better deal. Very "cliquey" and a large majority of management knew less then most reps and couldn't even answer some basic questions.

    Advice to Management

Be trained well in your job and should have more knowledge then reps. Don't let supervisors treat one person horrible compared to other team members. Have a witness with all meetings with coach or senior even though you shouldn't have to worry some have no problems lying. As employees should get free phones and bigger plan discounts since its free advertisement for the company. The company should care more about the customers and wining JD Power then alternate metrics.
