    Pros

Great benefits, good pay, and everything else that has no people involvement.

    Cons

Horrible Management full of false promises. Unless you're an A$$ kisser or juiced in, you have no chance at advancement!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unless you know or are connected to the big wigs, you have no shot at advancement! If you like sucking up and kissing butt and having false promises given to you daily then this is the job for you!

    I worked at T-Mobile

    Pros

For a person that has no idea what they want to do in life, this job is a good starting point. The benefits are alright, healthcare is cheap.

    Cons

This job is high stress! This place is not for everyone. There is a reason why there are VERY few people there over 3 years. I worked here for 9 years and finally had enough. If you are attending school, you better make sure that all of your stats are good or they will not work with your schedule. Also, the metrics that you will be measured on are changing ALL of the time. Management wants the employees to have consistency, but they have none at all! And to top all of that off, you have a "sales quota" to sell features and rate plans, but given NO training at all on how to sell.
The politics of the call center were absurd. You couldn't advance anywhere without knowing someone and in a call center, the only way to advance was to go into management. You say the wrong thing or look at someone wrong and you could be fired. The management of the call center have a big ego and better not try and pop it.
To conclude it all, stay away from this company. They will use you up and then spit you out!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a strategy and stick to it! Don't blame a change on "this is what the customer wants". Guess what, they don't know what they want and never will!
