I have been working at TCF Bank part-time (More than a year)

Pros

career advancement opportunity is easy if you are a good sales person

Cons

all they care about are accounts low pay and a lot of work they dont care about customers just getting their $

Advice to Management

screwing customers over is only beneficial short term.

    Pros

    Promotion's are Easy, Management is very nice to you, and generally the people that you work with are nice as well

    Cons

    I dont like shoving checking accounts down peoples throats, mainly when you dont agree with the policies of the bank anyway

    I worked at TCF Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    the coworkers were good the incentives were okay fun outings opportunity to move up if you are good in sales

    Cons

    upper management only cares about sales and not about who gets trampled on in the end. they turn the other way when their employees do ethical wrong doings and also when they are breaking rules just so they hit their sales goals. and when someone tries to report that conduct the person who filed the report gets laid off instead just so they can continue with their sales numbers.

    Advice to Management

    get rid of the bad eggs and stop going by last year's bogus numbers/goals set by employees opening junk accounts. focus on customer service, primary accounts and profitability. basically open good, active accounts, not opening five accounts for one person who doesn't have a social just so you can variate the name to produce "different people" to achieve outrageous sales goals.
