I have been working at TCF Bank part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great coworkers. Since tellers are trained to do EVERYTHING (without being paid for the extra stuff you do) you gain a lot of good skills to add to your resume. which can be impressive to more respectable banks. Flexible hours for students.

    Cons

Horrible pay. They work you like a dog and pay you close to minimum wage. Expect you to do a personal bankers job without getting the salary of an actual personal banker. Benefits cost more than your paycheck. Open 7 days a week so you're stuck working on Sundays and MOST holidays (Memorial daBenefits cost more than your paycheck. Expect you to do a personal bankers job without getting the salary of an actual personal banker. Constantly pressure you to open accounts and make goal without making commission for it. Holiday bonus is a lollipop and a $25 gift card.
