I have been working at TD Ameritrade full-time (less than a year)

Pros

regular 9-5 business hours, good work/life balance. The benefits are decent

Cons

Boring and it's in Jersey. Managers are really good and making themselves appear productive to directors and MD. Salary is definitely low for finance sector.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do some work and don't throw everything to the analysts. Listen to why your employees are leaving and look at where they are going, learn from that.

I have been working at TD Ameritrade full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you work hard, you will have as much opportunity as you want. Pay is great for the work/life balance and the senior management is extremely credible. TD also believes in giving back to associates through training and better tools in the office.,

    Cons

In order to move up, you will most likely need to relocate to other parts of country. Although this may not be as important, the company still doesn't have the respect of a big Investment Bank like Goldman or Morgan Stanley.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the values aligned towards having no conflicts of interest. This is best for the associate and the client.
