I have been working at TD Ameritrade full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great culture fostering collaboration and teamwork, excellent leadership, ability to work with many different groups, given plenty of flexibility to succeed, work life balance phenomenal

    Cons

career pathing is not there, HR does not invest in success as stated on career website, would rather let talent walk than pay to retain talent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more transparent with decision making, and invest in talent

I have been working at TD Ameritrade full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You can learn a lot while you're here, if you're in IS, you have a lot of opportunities to shadow different departments etc.

    Cons

In the sales world, there's no where else you can go besides "branch manager."
There's a lot of politics with the new leadership and makes a hard job even more difficult.
    Tons of micromanagement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop micromanaging your associates, when you say "People Matter," actually do that by helping associates move up in your organization and stop playing the games
Treat everyone like adults and enough with the ice cream treats...

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
