I have been working at TD Bank full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

It a good place to work. Great pension Plan

    Cons

Salaries are not always in line with Market Place offerings. No salary recognition for professional designations such as Lawyers, Architects, or Engineers. Benefit costs are generally more expensive than most employers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Weed out bad executive managers as they can damage the brand. Don't rely on the brand to attract top talent when comp is less than market.

I have been working at TD Bank full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Good work life balance
    - known company
    - many locations

    Cons

    - low pay compared to market
    - growth is slow unless you know people
    - lots of changes all the time (management wise, location wise etc) it seems thought every time there is a new VP all they do is reshuffle everything and hope for the best before they go next
    - If in IT the opportunity for growth and learning new technology is very low!

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
