I have been working at TD Bank part-time (more than a year)

Pros

PT positions for college students like myself. They do thier best in showing some appreciation for their employees but could do a bette rjob.

Cons

You may find yourself working 7 days a week before you have two days off again. Work life is OFF. Standing at the door for 2 hours to "greet" customers is a headache. There are multiple programs for basic transactions and the back office support is unrealiable and sometimes misleading.
They are always in a rush to get you off the phone.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve IT and give your employees more of a sales incentive to drive goals through the roof.

    Pros

Good Salary; clear job roles and expectations, achievable sales goals, incentive pay is attainable, hours are long but as store manager you control the schedule.

    Cons

HR is a nightmare. TD Bank HR Dept is the equivalent of a police drama Internal Affairs dept. HR does not have a problem disrupting a store (branch) or a dept if they feel like it. Not sure this a con, but TD has a STRONG female driven mid level management team. Also, not a con, but the company openly promotes gay, lesbian and transgender employees. Not sure if this is done at a detriment to any other subset of employees, but TD's involvement with the GLADD community is over the top.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have your employees back. Don't let HR run off good people.
