I worked at TD Bank full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The flexible hours accommodate any type of lifestyle. I was able to work while in high school part time, work full time during the summers, work 30 hrs plus during college (there was always a shift that worked with my schedule each seemester), transitional hours when returning from maternity leave, and full-time when finished with college. It is easy to move up in the company as long as you are dedicated and it is easy to transfer to different locations

    Cons

Lower side of pay for banking, low quarterly payouts, massive amounts of paperwork weekly to evaluate progress of quarterly sales goals. I was getting paid less than 15/hr and my quarterly payouts were always less than $200 every quarter, some quarters on $52 dollars even though I always exceeded my sales goal. Once you make your sales goal it increases tremendously, ends up becoming unrealistic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are going to be sales driven have commissions that match the amount of work
